hello from wisconsin
hello everybody i am new here and would like to get to know as many of you as possible. i am still learning a few things about birds but not doing to bad. i just got my first parrotlet this afternoon and i have several budgies and 5 cockatiels. i am not a breeder and have taken in 85% of these fids as rescues. i have one that will never fly due to the fact they cut up his wings badly. i took in a baby cockatiel that wasnt wanted after it was born. i have one that was plucked so bad she was almost naked but the feathers are coming back. i have 3 pairs of budgies that werent wanted either. the owners didnt want them cause they were said to be too messy,noisy and not friendly. i have a cockatiel that i got because the owners didnt want him anymore and their kids didnt either. i have a beautiful american pit bull terrier/boxer cross puppy who just turned 6 months today.
