thanks

I'm new and still trying to figure out how this sites works exactly. I'm sure I'll figure it out. I read some of the messages and come across things that my bird is doing that I was worried about and find that alot of the behaviour is common.

Today, he is quite fluffed up and scratching...does this happen as he begins molting, do you know?

Welcome!

Glad you joined us. Not sure of that answer. I would suggest you post that question in the expert section. You may get an answer faster.

Welcom fellow Budgie person LOL
Yes they do that a lot when molting, also they just like to have thier heads scrathed. Come over to the Budgie forum section. a lot of your questions can be answered there.
