Hummingbird Nectar drink?
I saw some of this stuff at a pet store, could I purchase some for my Rainbow Lorie?
I current feed her the powder nectar which she eats and immediately goes for some water.. if the above isnt good what is a good liquid nectar to give her? |

I actually had that same idea today! I was watching the hummingbirds eat their nectar on youtube! With your lorikeet powder nectar, I think it's imperative that you serve it dry, AS WELL AS mixed with water (or all natural no artificial colours etc apple juice/ mango juice/ apricot nectar as a treat!). As for the hummingbird nectar- I'm not sure- rainbow lorikeets come from Australia where there aren't any hummingbirds and their diet is probably a little different. Have a look at the engredients and if it's generally sugar, water and vitamins, then I don't see a problem with feeding it to your rainbow! <3
