Molting

Hey, when your lories- or any birds for that matter- are molting and irritable/aggressive- what do you do about it??

Yes, most of ours get moody, we just give them space till they are wanting attention.

Send a message via MSN to parrotluv
bathes usually help them get over it sooner(molting) also adding a bit of Aloe gel to the water helps the 'itchy's'

Aloe gel- I'd never heard of that- thanks! She loves her baths- I'll see if I can buy some to put in.

I leave Matches to do her own thing. She is going through a moult now, cranky pants sometimes unless she wants something I have, then she's sweet little angel waving and spinning to get it lol. I give her treats when she's good, otherwise i just leave her be.

Good idea. I'll put that into practise... make her want something from me, so she actually wants me with her :D
