Meet My New Lories!

Call me crazy....... I have 2 new ones! A baby Rainbow Lorikeet, 3 months old. I named him Pip--and only tonight did I see Abby's post and read that she has a little baby with the same name!! What are the chances of that? These little guys must be cosmic twins--my Pip also weighed in at a hearty 145 gms. He was my birthday present that I got for myself. The name suits him to a T. He is a blur of motion, playing, rushing over for kisses and cuddles, eating.... The other is Hazel, a Duivenbodes Lory (also a male). He's olive green with brilliant yellow streaks on his face and wings, bright blue on his back and tummy. He's a bigger fellow--245 gms. Hazel is 11 months old and is so sweet and gentle. He has made fast friends with Pip. He's very affectionate. So now Ilive in Lory Land! Marion

Both must be gorgeous!!! I used to think that the duyvenbode's weren't very attractive... until I saw an image of one that showed off it's hidden beauty!

I would love to see pictures of them both!
