no, I don't know that I want to... I just call her a her, and thats that ;) I'm already outnumbered by boys in the house!!!
I'd like to get a breeding pair of lories, but I don't think I want green naped. I'd prefer goldies or stellas, maybe blue streaked...

Ironically, you have access to many more species of lories than I do even though I am 'just across the ditch' from their home land.
(For the most part anyway.) My ambition is to have a pair of every variety there is going but here in NZ I am already halfway there. Green napes are lovely birds and very similar to rainbows as I understand it. You could go farther and fare worse! If your little bird is talking and interacting in such a way then I would lay money that you have a boy there. (SORRY! All the best, Heather |
