Hummingbird feeders

Anyone here feed their lory from a hanging feeder for hummingbirds? Are they even big enough (the feeders)? I thought it would be cute to hang one from the playstand or the ceiling for my lory to be. The ceiling especially for the distance shots after eating.

I have never tried it, but my one concern would be bacteria growth inside the feeder. That's a good idea, though, and if you could make it work then I would just suggest emptying out the feeder and giving it a good washing daily.

Yeah I'm with Angelica, that is the one thing I hate about hummer feeders...they get that black moldy junk in them and you CAN'T get it out. :(

Well I am a compulsive cleaner like I said so as long as it comes apart (which would be a feature I'd be looking for) it would be cleaned every 4 hours before being refilled. I know some of the feeders have thin straw like feeding things but I thought I saw a few with larger holes and perches around the outside. Will have a look around and let you all know if it works out, I think it would be a nice enrichment thing.
