It's official.

I have picked a lory after much consideration and will be receiving him, weather permitting, in a week or so. He's a 2 year old dna'd male black lory who just didn't want to be a breeder and though he is shy he was hand raised so I have hope he'll come around quickly to being a fun little handle-able terror. I've named him Poe. Will post pics when I have him! Wish me luck and many new mops!

Absolutely to pics, I'm wondering should I take the camera to the airport or wait? It's still going to be a week before he gets shipped here (next Monday, weather permitting).

I would wait till you get him home to start with the pics. We don't want to freak him out already. I've never seen a black lory so I am also looking forward to seeing him. Congrats!
