My Black Capped Lory

arrived here yesterday and I am thrilled! He/She was flown from Tx to Chicago and arrived in great condition, hopped out of the carrier and into my heart. I have named him/her Tikki.

I have a long history of birds starting with a pair of budgies, then a cockatiel, a BFA, a U2, a pair of peach faced LB's and a RLA. I lost my last 'zon about 18 months ago and was finally ready to get another larger bird.

My hubby really loved a Dusky Lory I fostered for a local rescue so we looked for a Lory and came across this young Black Cap and decided he/she was the one! In addition to "Tikki" we also have a budgie named "Blue Nani" LOL! Can you tell my 4 y/o named him???
