Cuddles!!!
I got really sick this weekend and haven't been able to hold Cherry. It was viral and I'm so afraid she'd get it so I've been giving her scritches after washing my hands thoroughly through the cage (she has a huge flight with PLENTY of toys), but it hasn't been enouph. My boys can't hold her but would talk to her and try play with her, and Hubby was in same shape as me. (Thanks for sharing boys). I finally was feeling better last night and was able to get her out of the cage. . . Total love fest for the next hour. Cuddles, scritches, her kissing me on the cheek with big smacking kisses. This is a bird that at the beggining of the year I couldn't let near my face for fear of getting a peircing in the lip. I was sooo amazed and felt so much love last night. I'm just totally dumbstruck and really happy!!!! I knew she liked me but now I know she LOVES me. Sorry just had to share my delight.
