Vid my son and the lorikeets

This was taken I think last year. Teenage development has now hit Jordan and the voice is deeper and he's alot bigger. I'm 5'7" and he's just over taken me in height. He turns 14yo next month.

Anyway, gives you an idea of the relationship he has with his lorikeets.

If you discount the 'tiel colony most of my aviary birds are very into people. Oh hang on, Sid and Nancy (galah pair) are absolutely freaked out by people but working on getting them calm, just enough that they don't have break downs when ever I enter the aviary.

Zali (sunny girl) will come up and give kisses, the quaker brats generally jump all over you if you stand still for more then 10 seconds in their aviary, GCCs are all in your face, of course Kirri (GSC2) is tame but won't step up, I don't push the point with her on that one, nanday girl like kisses, the budgie siblings have to be in your face, well you get the idea. It's really nice to be able to interact with the birds in their space and know that they're choosing to come over to you for kisses and scritches.
