Edward's Lorikeet

I have been thinking about getting a handfed baby Edward's Lorikeet - does anyone have any info on their pet quality? I would appreciate any feedback. Thank you.

Oooo such a pretty bird to have - I know nothing of the breed but I know others on here do. Congrats on a possible new baby!!

I haven't met one personally but I am pretty certain they would have the same personality as green-napes and swainson's, which are the most commonly kept as pets. So in other words, (not that I'm biased), they would have excellent pet potential!

I thought the same thing as Rahni. Should be a playful, talkative, attention seeking companion just like most rainbow subspecies.
