lost lorikeet, victoria, australia

LOST LORIKEET (jewel)

lost in Burwood area (victoria, Australia), flew away in afternoon of 9th June. it barks like a dog, it makes other bird noises and does a trilling whistle, and it hates people(tends to LUNGE at my eye)... but i'm guessing it'll come down looking for food soon.

no one here will probably find it, there's not many people around this area but if you could keep an eye out or tell your friends then that'd be great!

PM me or email special_kali@hotmail.com i'm on here all the time..\/

she seems fine, but i think she's in denial a bit though, convinced the bird will just come back.. they left the cage outside with nectar sprinkled around and had to bring the ringneck in, but then lost him somewhere inside! sheesh not a good day for birds.. she said he was probably hiding in her clothes, tends to do that sometimes...

hopefully he/she will come back soon! Captain Banana needs his friend back!

still no bird.. poor grace has been crying everyday since it happened. i'm looking in the skies all the time. i live about 15 minutes drive away so that's not too far for a fully flighted bird to fly... i'm hoping s/he'll just land in my yard one day and climb on my hand.. i don't mind if you lunge aty my eye again, just come back stupid bird!

I'm still looking for poor jewel. I feel so sorry for grace, I don't think I'd cope with Ashling flying away. I'll put up posters if she wants. Also at school cause there's girls everywhere around Melbourne. Ask her for me?
How did he escape??
