Found Eclectus (Banded)

We found this pretty female in are back yard.
She is very sweet and lovable.
We are taking very good care of her until we can locate her owner..... If we fail to locate the owner then we will continue caring for her.
She is Banded and we will know whether or not she is chipped next week or so.
If this is your bird please reply with band number and photo's habits and anything else you can think of. Pat
She is also on Craigslist, 911Parrot and the Tampa Tribune
We found her in Ruskin Fla

She is absolutely beautiful and very sweet. We have had her about a week. We had to temporarily cage her in a big dog kennel with home made perches. We did a bunch of research and then this weekend we went and got her a condo. LOL Her diet is good now. She did have a touch of diarrhea, but we have remedied that. Hopefully her owner will see one of our signs or one of our post/ads. Until then we will love her. :-)

Wow you bought her that cage!! Looks like if you find her home you will need to get a birdie to live in there once she is home!!

We have been discussing adopting/rescuing a bird for a while, so if her owner comes forward we will have the cage already. We were originally thinking about an African Grey or a Macaw but after fid sitting this little girl I think we may lean more toward an eclectus. She is beautiful and hilarious.

What a cutie. I'm sure she is very missed. Have you tried ringing up the local vets in case someone has reported her missing?
Hope you find the owners. If not, congrats on a new bird. :P

She is cute - remember...Eclectus have some special diet needs so maybe some good ecci owners on here can help you with that!

Are you able to read the band? There are people here that can help you decipher what it means. She is a beauty but I am sure she is being missed very much by someone .
