Unhappy Ow thank you!

I did everything and now I am just waiting... the worst is that I dont know Where she is... she flew for the first time away from us, she usualy stays indoors and is very timid parrot...(her wings r cliped- but I guess they were long enough for her to fly).. I cannot sleep thinking about how afraid she must be!... She got scared and we try to catch her but it was impossible... I cant get the image of her flying away w/ no sense of direction...

The weather is not helping and after searching, calling all pet stores, clinics, fire/police dept, and posting add online and posters around the city I am just sleepless and waiting for a call...

The strangest thing of all is that the night she flew away my husband posted an add on craigslist about it and he got a reply around 2:30am asking for us to let then know when we got the email so they could contact us about the post but after sending 3 emails back still no call!!! I don't know if they have my Katie ... I just hope she is found by someone!!!

Best of luck for you too!... Its really painful...

I couldn't imagine what you're going through, don't give up!
Go for drives around your area high and low, she couldn't get that far, she would have to be spotted by someone soon if not already.

Unhappy No sign of Katie yet...

We did get a call of a couple who was very nice and claimed they had found Katie... Oh I was jumping, and after soo many prank calls still could not believe it. So we gave them the ID # and they said they had Katie... Well I drove there as fast as possible and we were laughing at the situation and most of all how far she had gone... Anyway... time to take a good look at her so we can get things ready to bring her home... NO WAY.... As sad as I felt I could not stop thinking why!!.. After loking at the african gray that they found I quickly realize that it wasn't Katie!!!...

Gosh.. my heart broke again.... the ID# was very similar.... so they maybe were not able to see it very well... The african grey they found was from the same breader as ours.

A few days later a pet clinic call us and say they think they have our bird... well... same thing again.... the couple that found the parrot brought it to the clinic so they could find the owner....

.... After all that we still have no clue about Katie... My brother said that looking at all this in a positive way we can a least know that she might have been able to survive and be found like the other african grey (since I was worry because of the weather and the rain during the week we lost her)...

Thank you for all your prayers...

Hopefuly she will be found and returned to her home!... :o(
