LOST Lutino Cockatiel Pilot Mountain NC please help!!

Last night when my mom went outside to take the trash, she had my cockatiel on her shoulder without realizing it. The sound of the trash dropping spooked her and she flew across the road and into the woods by my apartment. We searched all evening, but to no avail. Are there any tips/tricks that can be used to get your baby back? I am so heart broken over this. I put her cage outside with the door open in case she sees it... I don't know what else to do. Help!!! Thanks.
