I worry about this around my house cause of all the birds but I want someone to stick their hands in one of my bird cages. They might not come back out with it. My birds aren't socialized all that well and would really eat someone up I think. This is one of the downsides of the birds be handled by many different people.

I sure do hope this woman finds her birds.

I'd posted this the day it happened. The girl is a good friend of mine from another forum. Actually, she is active on many forums. Actually, Bailey, the ringneck would not go to anyone but her, which is why she found many of his tail feathers on the floor. I'm just sick for her.

How heartless! I am sure the thieves do not understand the trauma that those poor birds are going to suffer! Being snatched away out of their home and their momma!
I hope the thieves are caught and are given a stiff sentence.

I just pray the all her babies are o.k and are found!

Can someone get a message to her to put an ad on Craigslist looking to BUY those particular birds, not as the owner, but as a totally different person and if she is contacted and it sounds like her birds, contact the police and setup a sting type operation. Someone up in MN I think it was, did this and got the bird back.

People are doing that Renee. Also a little update....she got a call last night from a woman who'd bought a G2 at a park not far from her home day before yesterday as a b-day gift for her mom, who has other large parrots as well. She is supposed to meet this woman and the bird after 4:00 today when the lady gets off work to see if it is indeed her Jaden. Hopefully it will be as the description sounds totally the same (Jaden is a bit of a plucker), and how often do you see people selling birds in the park? Hopefully the lady can give a good description of the person she bought him from as well.

Wow, I am crossing my fingers that it is her Jaden. That was my worst fear, that they would sell them outright to strangers with no internet trail, etc. I am part of the group that is helping monitor the classifieds on the other bird forum she visits, and it is so distressing that out of all of us no one has seen anything online.

I just saw this on Craigslist! :)

I just wanted to thank everyone and let you guys know that Jaden (goffins) has made his way home thanks to 2 wonderful girls. I cant thank you both enough. He is completely traumatized and hasnt stopped crying since he got home. My other 2 are still out there. Please keep your eyes open!!
