Blue and gold macaw flew away on Drew rd after two jets flew by. He flew into the woods near Old bay rd and Drew rd. He is most likely at the top of a high tree. If you spot him anywhere please call Gregg at 603 842 0351. The birds name is Dallas. Please do not chase after him, as he is very scared and will keep flying. If you spot him we will drive to where you see him and try to get him ourselves. Thank you very much!!!!

That's Terrible. Just another example of why a flighted bird shouldn't be in a situation where it can be spooked and take flight.

I know, but at this point I felt that what is important is to get the ad seen by as many as possible to get Dallas home.

I'm sure his family feels terrible enough already. Probably beating themselves up pretty bad @ this point I'm sure... terrified for their baby's life.

Let's all keep our fingers crossed & say a little prayer for the scared lil' guy, k?

Thanks.

Absolutely, "stuff" happens. I'm always terrified one of my dogs is going to get out the fence and take off. It's a huge fear. I can't imagine what they're feeling wondering if he's okay.

I know... I'm so emotional, I'd be hysterical.
They aren't members here, "yet", but hopefully they will get their baby, Dallas, back soon & sign up here so we can see many pictures & read lots of stories of what the lil' feathered buggar gets into once he returned home from his "big adventure", lol.

I know, I was reading the classifieds one day, for no reason whatsoever (this is how I know things happen for a reason) and I see that these people lost their Boxer while camping and they described a dog exactly like mine, so of course I call to see if they find him and they say no and send me a pic.

Well, they lived in NJ and I lived only about 45 mins from where he was lost. I went up there every day, sometimes at 5:30 a.m. because there were sightings and I even walked through sodden grass to try and catch him where they kept finding him sleeping. I finally got ahold of a have-a-heart trap and we got him. I didn't sleep for like 2 weeks worrying about him.

The family calls me their angel. They thought he was gone and they couldn't believe how often I went up there and looked for him until we got him home. I become such an emotional wreck when it comes to the plight of animals, it's too much. LOL

We'll say a prayer for Lil' Dallas.

Thank you to everyones support, and all the phone calls. We found him last night in a 100+ foot tree, after receiving all the climbing gear we were able to get him this morning. He is back home and safe, and will be taking a ride to get his wings clipped today. Thank you!!!
