Lovebird Found in North Brunswick, NJ

My landlady found this lovebird in our yard this morning. Good thing too, the cat almost got it. The bird has a damaged beak (upper and lower do not align properly), missing feathers and a crooked toe. I don't know how long the bird was outside but it appears to be lost very recently. I'll check with the neighbors.

Peach face lovebird (Roselle, NJ)
Date: 2009-July-26, 8:50PM EDT

Hello Everyone:
This afternoon my male lovebird flew out of our sunroom & out to the backyard.
We tried luring him in by having the female call him out which brought him
closer to our backyard but he never actually came down to the cage. His name is
Corie. He has a red face with green body. He doesn't bite but will fly away if
someone tries to catch him. I'm hoping that someone with experience comes across
him & contacts me. His mate has 4 little babies & I'm afraid that she might not
attend to them if her partner doesn't come soon enough.
He was last seen @ around 8:00 p.m. flying towards 9th St., in Roselle. I can be
contact via cell 908 482 0775.
Please help us. He's been part of them family for some time now & right now I'm
heart broken. I've attached a picture of another bird but this is something of
what he looks like.
Thank you

Case closed. The bird belonged to a household in my neighborhood. Now she is back with her human and avian families. The owner asked me if I wanted to keep her (he has two others) and I was tempted, but declined hoping she'll do better not having to readjust to new surroundings.
