LOST TIMNEH AFRICAN GREY PARROT BEING FOSTERED AT FEATHERED FRIENDS
FOUND AT LAGUARDIA AIRPORT

MASPETH, NY-Feathered Friends Parrot Adoption Services, Inc. (FFPAS),
located in Maspeth, Queens, NY, is fostering a Timneh African Grey
parrot that was found by Port Authority Police officers at LaGuardia
Airport, NY.

The parrot was found near the U.S. Air Terminal ramp on Saturday, August
8, 2009, in the afternoon, and turned over to FFPAS on Monday, August
10, 2009.

The parrot is in excellent shape, and is being well taken care of at our
facility. If an individual or family is looking for their lost parrot,
they may contact us between the hours of 9:00AM and 10:00PM, and must
provide the bird's band identification number as proof of identity. We

(917) 865-5042. We will only respond to inquiries from persons who may
think this is their bird.

FFPAS is a not-for profit 501 (c)(3) organization, whose mission in part
is to foster found or abandoned parrots. This parrot will remain being
fostered for 30 days-until September 10, 2009-at which time, if the
owner has not been found, will become available for adoption.
