When Katrin came home from visiting her folks in Germany she saw her sister in law doing something, and of course Katrin had to try it too. So as soon as we had a few pennies saved up and it was on sale at Michaels, off we went to buy out the store of all their colors and stuff.
I'm tellin' ya, if'n that little lady puts her mind to somethin'. Anyhow, I thought I would give you a step by step making of the one that I am waiting to have dry at the moment. It's real easy and there are many different things you can do with it, there are a number of books with ideas and all kinds of stuff, anyhow, I am rambling again. These are the colors that I used in the making of the following design. The "Leading" paint is much thicker because that is the one you use to make the outlines. The "filler" colors are more liquid for easier application. I think katrin went and bought 2 or 3 of each of the 50 or so colors available. Like I told you, this girl does nothing by half measures. Here is the design that I thought I could handle for a first attempt, and I screwed that up too, go figure, got two or three places the wrong color grey, oh well. I just printed it out to the size that I wanted hence the blurryness of the paper version. Place the design INSIDE the sheet protector. Then take the desired "Leading" paint, in this case Gold, and trace the outlines of the design, or rather outline the parts you want to fill in with color later. After waiting about two hours for the outline paint to dry you can go ahead and fill in the design with the colors that you want to use. I used a toothpick to pop any little bubbles that might arise. You can carefully remove the design from inside the sheet protector and then after another 3 to 6 hours drying time, depending on the thickness of the paint applied, you can peel the entire design off of the sheet protector and stick it on your mirrors or windows as decoration or on the bathroom tiles or, or, or ... It dries into a rubbery thingy and is reusable if handeled with caution and not made too thin. I'll post the last picture of it hanging in the window or on the mirror after it has had ample time to dry, but in the mean time I think you get the idea. Pretty cool huh?

It was just a design that I had found somewhere on the net.
