Member Profiles

One of the cool parts about this board is the chance to get to know other parronts. But so many of the profiles here are bare. The way the board is set up allows for a lot of information to be put in our profiles. I'd love it if we could take a moment and try to enhance our profiles. You can upload a personal photo in addition to your avatar, include various information in fields, and even include a bunch of information under webpage content.

We also have guestbooks that are very easy to use and can allow us to make fun salutations. I'd just love to see us get the most possible out of this board.

It WOULD be great if everyone would fill out their profiles. I just noticed last night that Monica has a profile picture up on hers.

Well, ok, I'll call in my Hollywood make up and hair team and have a few glamour shots taken. Of course, once you actually MEET me, you'll still wonder who the hell you're talking to I once had a glamour shots session shot with my daughter, Stacey the year Miss Lily was born. I often laugh when I accidentally stumble upon that "pretty" redhead in the leopard print. That's the one I'm gonna use at my wake.

I think it would also be a good idea for anyone who sees a new member introducing themselves for the first time, to suggest to them to look at the "10 things about yourself" thread (or whatever it was called) & maybe fill that in too (kind of a fun way to get to know others). Maybe Kevin can make that a sticky post so new members can see it more easily.

I fixed mine too, even managed to put up a picture...LOL!!!!

My computer is having a fit at the moment (think I need to get the fan replaced, which shouldn't be hard), though as far as my profile goes, I really do want to replace that photo! It's an older one, but I think it needs a couple of birds in it, too! I'm just not very good at taking my own photos (which I hate to begin with! lol) Someday, I might add some juicy meats to my profile, which it doesn't have right now!

Maybe I can send a link to the 10 things thread in the welcome email or a link to their profile asking them to fill it out....ooh the possibilities.
