Hello! Sorry I have been so busy with dog stuff lately. I accidentally signed up for three classes at the same time. Plus summer is a big time for our club to go and do obedience demonstrations and such.

Lingo is still doing fine - still trying to fly a lot! The big goofball has almost gotten himself squwooshed a few times, because he is SO explorative. He has no fear of anything!

We have our good days and bad days. Overall, I think he likes me. But sometimes he just doesn't want to be fussed with and it's best to leave him to his own devices on those days. I am wondering if I am a bit too cuddly for him? I like to give him lots of scratches and other affection, but he isn't always so receptive to them.

He enjoys his homemade toys now even more than I imagined... he attacks them with vigor! His favorite toys involve popsicle sticks.

He has taken great enthusiasm with imitating the dogs. He now whines just like they do, when I leave ;)

I do occasionally wonder if we are mismatched personalities. Maybe I'm trying to be too cuddly, and he just isn't that sort of guy. He loves to get in the shower with me, though. That's my favorite time to spend with him.

Times are a bit frustrating lately on other fronts... a finance company I have a sizeable loan with LOST my payment and I ended up having to pay double even though the whole thing was not my fault. Then my truck broke and now our second vehicle is having problems.

On a happier note, I saw a beautiful grey at the local pet supply store (they sell only fish, birds, and hamsters) and I just about had to take it home with me. I will be posting about it in the bird forum, momentarily
