Michael, your cover..

Michael,

Did your cover arrive yet? You should have gotten it Tuesday.

Let me know if it fits. If not, just send it back and we'll make you another one.

Thanks,

Blake

Blake,
Yes, the cover has arrived. however, I'm retarded and can't figure out how to get it on. Feo's cage is so big, I think this is going to be a 2 person job anyhow. :) Is there a way to tell which is the front? Anything that will help me get it on? Thanks!

Jenny,

I'm glad it arrived!

Your right - Feo's cage is so huge, the cover had to be huge, too! No worries about not knowing how to get it on. Just get on a mini-ladder, pull one side of the cover over part of the cage, move the ladder to the other side, and repeat! (It most likely is a two-person job, so don't worry if you can't figure it out.)

The front and back were made to the be the exact same, so there is no different between the front or back.

I hope that helped!

Blake

Hey Blake...

Do you make these covers? I don't use any at all. specially with the tiel. how would I know if I should? I haven' felt like I need them so far. but curious about who else uses them for what kinds of birds and why.

Covers are usually for a sense of security, or the put the bird to bed at an earlier time and wake the bird up at a later time. Some people occasionally accompany a cover with time outs, though others (as far as idiots go) will keep a cover on a birds cage for atleast half the day if not longer to try to quiet the bird down.

I don't care to cover my cages because I have two large ones, and besides, two of my birds are cage-free... I'd have to put up one of those curtains like they have in the hospitals to cover them! But of course it is my preference to not cover...

Tracy,

My grandma is a veteran quilter/sewer/craftsperson and handmakes each custom cage cover. I use one so Lily does have more regulated rest, and also to keep her from making from little discrepancies in the night.

Ever since Lily had her cover, she has rarely bitten, her mood has greatly improved, and she has been so much sweeter. If you don't cover your birds, I strongly recommend you do. They are almost invaluable, in my opinion!

Blake
