I can top all of the above. LOL We got REAL lucky when my husbands grandfather sold us his house on 5 acres for 48K. Although the house needed a lot of updating on the inside we got a steal of a deal. We have a 6 car garage that has its own central air and furnace with a built on screened in porch down the whole side of it. Another barn style garage that has a loft and 2 attached sections that house the big tractors.
If you want to take a gander at the pics you can look here.

D A M N! I'm moving in right next door to Kim Lynn! That's unbelievably cheap for a 4 bedroom house. I don't think you can get a condo for that here in Maryland. He'll, you'd pay that for a building lot here. Actually, a building lot would be more.

AZ? The high today in Phoenix will be 115. The population grows by a million every year, and there's only 1 river. No thanks!

Nancy, I would LOVE to have you for a neighbor! And the house really is nice, it's in "town", though(town consists of caution light and a nursing home). You'd have neighbors across the street, but the yard could have a pool put in and I bet there is just enough room to rebuild the TakiTiki. Seriously though, I love living where I do, despite the fact that the nearest Walmart is 20 miles away.(The closest Avian vet is 80 miles) LOL. Tiger-I've never heard of Sharpsburg? Is that north or south. I'm about 1 1/2 hours from Savannah and 1 1/2 hours from Macon. We might just have to get together.

Christy, I might have you beat. We bought our property 12 years ago and got 24.9 acres for $16,500. 10 years ago we built a house. Nothing real fancy 4 BR 2 Bath 1849 sq feet. After we were done building, we combined the construction loan and the land and financed $75,000. The appraisal is now well above that, but I don't believe I'd ever sell it.

Yup you have me beat. LOL
I would never sell either. I love it here. We are surrounded by woods and wildlife. Every day my son & I watch the deer grazing in the field across the street , at night we fall asleep to the bullfrogs in the pond beside our house and we get to scare possom & racoons out of our trash every Thursday night. LOL

Ahhhh one can always dream huh?
Yep along with the aviary and a parrot rescue, I dream of a stables, a black arabian and a chicken coop LOL I would board and/or breed horses and rescue parrots. What a life that would be.

Tiger
Are you planning on going to the Exotic Bird Fair in Norcross this weekend? I was hoping to go, but the person who was gonna drive me(yeah, like Driving Miss Daisy, don't laugh) has to work. I REALLY wanted to go. I guess I will have to wait until September when it goes back to Forrest Park. Maybe we could meet up then?
