Humans are designed to be omnivores, partly why we are the only animal that can survive in almost every climate on the globe.

I'm not big on internal organs (liver, sweetbreads, haggis, tongue, Rocky Mt. oysters, steak & kidney pie, etc.), and steer clear of escargot, some sushi, squid, and raw oysters. Other than those ... me likey!

I tried vegetarian, didn't work for me. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get a veggie dinner in a truckstop? I like to tell people not familiar with the industry that at most places even the salads are greasy.

I mostly eat chicken or pork, with the occasional beef. I dunno, I just saw too much while I sat at the slaughter houses waiting to pick up those loads of beef. I'd rather have stayed ignorant.

Aww, you don't like Haggis!? That is just about the best meal in a stomach I can think of! I eat is a few times per year. I order 'canned haggis" from scotland, and then on Robbie Burns night, we all have a nice large fresh haggis and scotch.

Ye Pow’rs, wha mak mankind your care,
And dish them out their bill o’ fare,
Auld Scotland wants nae skinking ware
That jaups in luggies;
But, if ye wish her gratefu’ prayer
Gie her a haggis!

I had it once at some big fancy Scottish shindig in Chicago. We were the guests of Mr. Houstin McBain of the McBain.

The haggis was kinda dry and bland. The Caol Isla was outstanding!

I like meat! I buy the cuts we'll all eat (apparently 'we' are fussy ) at the grocery store, but will also buy a whole lamb every year or two (we all eat all the lamb). However, we don't eat huge amounts of meat - and have lots of 'meatless' meals.

Again, like someone else said, I can't eat anyone I've met, so it has to be faceless.

I'll also eat wild-caught meat, but I refuse to hunt.

Not any more

I was a vegitarian,

Then I looked around and realized I had lots of leather things and realized that it was kinda stupid (it is stupid to me) to kill a animal for the hide so I started to eat meat again....seems more justifable to use a whole animal.

I have lived without meat and did just fine.............just can't seem to live without leather.........hummmmmmmmm.

Lol

I will eat anything that taste good, looks good, smells good or happens to get in my way when i am hungry.

But some days or even weeks i will eat nothing but fruit and veggies pretty much because i get sick of meat after eating it for a while and sometimes i will eat meat and no veggies.

I will NOT eat reproductive organs (thats way too far over the top for me)

I could live on seafood/fruit and veggies (any seafood and any veggie/fruit)and a little chicken.

My fav is curry (any curry) even for breakfast served with jasmine rice and a nice cup of hot green/jasmine mix tea or dark roast coffee and a big plate of kippers and toast with roasted green chili peppers.

yeah im weird but i like food.

John

This sounds about right to me! I refuse to eat fresh fish (even if cooked) or any type of fish for that matter (beyond canned tuna, which I prefer in water instead of oil), I enjoy eating beef, chicken, pork, and occasionally turkey (not a huge turkey fan, it's usually always too dry). I'm not really picky when it comes to meat however I do refuse to eat any organs of any such (tongue, liver, kidneys, whatever!). I do like steak, ribs, chicken legs, etc however.

Overall, I can say that I'm not all too picky when it comes to food, though of course there are some things I just don't like such as celery, and don't care for things such as watermelon. I love fruits much more than I do veggies, however I frequently find myself eating more veggies than fruit (such as carrots, onions, cabbage, broccoli, brussel sprouts, etc).

I'll eat processed foods (grew up on it), I have eaten deer that my late grandfather shot, have tried antelope and moose (or maybe I didn't get to try the moose). With deer meat, it depends on how its cooked or how 'fresh' it is, I guess, for me to really eat it. The antelope meat was dry (cooked too long) so I can't say if I really like it or not. I have also tried lamb, when I was in elementry school, and this lamb was raised at the highschool in the same town (went there for the first semester of my freshmen year, and I enjoyed being in a school that literally was a farm, as well), however it was char-grilled (well, it was extremely dry), so I didn't like it. If I tried it again, and it wasn't so dry, I might like it, otherwise I don't care for it (however my sisters husband LOVES lamb and sheep meat-still waiting for them to come back to the good ole USA!!!)
