Hi. Just noticed this thread. I'll get back to you. My wife's schedule (nurse) changes weekly and she's asleep now so I can't ask her if she's off that day.

My wife is scheduled to work that day but she's gonna try to switch with someone. If she can then we're definately going. It would be our first parrot "event." We've been wanting to join the LIPS but never seem to get around to it. We're members of the Audobon society and their magzine is great/very informativie.

(We live in Hyde Park and take the train from Poughkeepsie into Manhattan.)

Is anyone in this general area who would like to go with me? I am not really proficient at finding my way around the city and would prefer to go with someone. I'd meet you at the station and we could go from there.
