I am differnt then most. I would not date someone who did not like my birds, and understand what they mean to me in life.
My husband did not know much about birds before I came along. In the 8 years I have known him, I can say he has stood 100% behind me with any choices I had to make in regards to the care of my-our birds.
There are not many spouces that would agree to fork out nearly $7000.00 on medical bills for a parrot. My husband at one point borrowed money from a friend to help my parrot recieve the treatments he needed. I did not know he did this, but he knew what that life meant to me.
He also understands when I buy expencive toys, or foods for my guys, but dont spend money on myself.
You have to go with your gut feeling, but his reaction to your birds is only a sample of what lies ahead.
good luck with your choices.
