Florida Room Quote
I won't even tell you the outrageous amount we were quoted this morning -
 The salesman did see the fids and commented on what an expensive hobby they are  Hobby? I told them that they are my children!  He didn't know what to say!

I got an estimate for a Florida room about two weeks ago. $4000 not including the concrete slab. Yeah, maybe in 5 years or so. :(

Hey, I don't know who was gonna do it for $4,000 because when I checked last year here in Maryland, it was more like $30,000!

I won't even bother to get a quote. All glass that is shipped up here to Alaska cost like 3X's the amount everyone else pays for it. So I can only imagine how much it will cost! I will just have to stick with my birdroom sliding glass door! LOL

We are thinking of just adding a room to the house, without the name "Florida room" and seeing how much that would cost. Part of the problem is that all the supplies are being shipped overseas to Iraq so we can help them rebuild. Plus here in Florida there are still so many homes that need work done from Ivan that they are getting 4x's the amount they would usually get.
