Longest day of my life!!!!!!
That would be today.
This morning I dropped off my 11 year old off to his first day of middle school. My son has lived with my mom in Az since he was five. I have finally gotten my act togather enough that she has given him back to me. I have never dropped him off ANYWHERE. I am so sick to my stomache over all of this. He looked terrified this morning. We didnt realize till a couple of weeks ago that he would no longer be in elementary school. This middle school starting in the 6th grade is crazy. My son has so many emotional issues!! GOD I hope he is ok!!!!  Ive done nothing all day cept stare at both phones and look out the window. I hate today!! Geez, Happy b day. LOL

My Goodness, I just cant believe how hard this is. I thought it would be rough on him, everything new, not having any friends or anything BUT GEEZ this is ripping my heart in tiny lil pieces!! I hope when I pick him up he is smiling and he tells me he likes his new school and he made a friend!!!!! 45 more minutes. tick tock tick tock!!!!!!

...don't make too big a deal of it...because if he's at all concerned, he'll feed off your fears...
...make it fun! Maybe take him out for an inexpensive celebritory dinner and let him tell you all about his day! Lots of positive reinforcement!...

He had a very good day. HE said he really likes this school!!!!! All that worrying. LOL naturally just as I was walking out the door a rain storm from you know where hit and me and the baby was half way between the door and the van!! Go back get soaked on the way to get umbrella.... just dart to the van... get soaked. Needless to say, we got drenched. I was so happy when he jumped in with a smile on his face. Thank you everyone for listening. I have lots of papers to read and sign I guess. Hope I doint mess up.
