I saw this little guy outside my window and had go get a shot of him. He's not a bird, but he does have wings, and his flight is like poetry.

That is really lovely, we don't have much in the way of butterflies where we live, so I really enjoy seeing yours.

Gorgeous! I love butterflies. We had a Monarch visiting our honeysuckle vines last night, and Shawn came running outside when he heard me squeal. LOL

Have you ever thought about wedding photography, Michael?

That is a great shot. Every year my son goes and see the butterflyman release his butterflies, and every spring he bubbles over about the butterflies his class raise and set free at the end of the school year.

This is the first year I have not had many butterflies. I usually have quite a few, but it has been excessively hot and humid this summer. I guess that is keeping them away. My son loves to run with them as they go from flower to flower.
