I'm not really addicted to many foods, but I drink Sweet Iced Tea like it's going out of style!
As far as favorite foods go: sushi, fried mullet, homemade onion rings, boiled shrimp, Ice cream, and the little goldfish crackers!!

Oh, I never even thought about iced tea. I cannot function at all without it. When I travel (that's a laugh) I always take along water from home and Red Rose teabags. I once wound up in a place that only sold Lipton! I was like a junkie going through withdrawal. So, yes, my number one addiction is homemade sweet tea with a lovely slice of lemon. I think I'll go get a refill right now

I know what you mean about not functioning...and instant or canned tea <gross >....I keep a big glass of it on my desk at work, then I pour a glass to go home in the afternoons, drink it with dinner...yup, hopelessly addicted :D . I personally like the Community or Luzianne iced tea bags....but I'm pretty happy as long as it's fresh-brewed...no lemon :D
That's what I hate about traveling up North, out West or anywhere but the south...they look at you crazy when you ask for "sweet" tea.

Sweet tea is good! For this summer, my mother started making tea (5 bags lipton in a coffee pot), putting that into a 4 liter/1 gallon pitcher, and filling the rest with water... She use to put 1 cup of sugar into that, but now doesn't so that she can use her sugar subsitute... That means I end up putting 1/2 cup sugar into a tall glass, or 1/4 or less sugar in a cup of tea... I'm really trying to cut on the sugar, but tis hard (though 4 or 5 years ago, it wasn't even sweet enough with 1 1/2 cups sugar in one glass of milk, water, or tea... haven't really been drinking milk lately, n the water here I can't stand, even with sugar...). I'm use to drinking lipton, but its great to have Southern Sweet Tea! Oh well, that was last month since I last had any....

Because she has been making tea though, I end up helping to make the tea as well, as I like to have something on hand to drink when it's there and doesn't cost me 85 cents or more... I do sometimes though put some of the freshly made tea into another pitcher, and add sugar to that for myself, but that doesn't last very long as its only a 2 quart/2 liter pitcher... Not addicted to it though... Which reminds me that I had some hibiscus tea from a Mexican Restruant the other day... It tasted great!

Tea here as well. Every night (hey, there's 6 people in our family, and we're a thirsty lot), I fix 2 pitchers of tea (I make...the best tea in the world), one sweet, and one unsweet. And it is gone by the next night.

Steven, tea is great....Although not as good as milk......I can go through a gallon of milk a day myself (although I'm just not allowed...milk gets expensive after awhile :-) )

Would be a gallon a day, but, like I said...too danged expensive

Everyone thinks I'm just a tad bit wierd because I would rather have milk than anything else to drink....I dunno, I just like the stuff. Course, drinking whole milk like that doesn't do much to help my figure ;-)

LOL Cgrite! Sugar water.... The milk I use to add vanilla flavoring, orange juice, or maybe something else, but I've pretty much lost my sweet tooth and cannot stand that much sugar anymore (I mean, I'd have 2+ glasses of water or milk this way each day.... and to say the least, it didn't get me that hyper...).

Talking about tea or coffee, do you drink it black, or with milk???? I don't really care for tea mixed with milk, though I don't think it's gross... However, I don't like black coffee, and its a must to have with sugar and milk/creamer, however, I cannot remember the last time I actually had a cup of coffee on my own (over 2 years ago).

I really dont drink milk except for the milk left over in a bowl of cereal... The only thing that is like milk and I have no problem drinking, that my mother actually buys, would be that coffee creamer that looks like milk... I prefer the french vanilla though over the other flavors (less I make some banana milk with fresh bananas, then I like a bit of cinnamen vanilla creamer in that to add flavor)...

A lot of people that I know say that I have strange eating habits, or I'm just plain weird, though they put up with my "weirdness" anyway!
