Elwood's first momma
I have kept in contact with Elwood's first momma since I bought him and brought him home. It was a very emotional time, and on the way home I cried, while I had this very large, angry bird in a box in my back seat. Lisa cried when she "packed" him up to come with me and I bawled right along with her.
I brought him home, set up his cage and opened the box so he could go "home". When Elwood first got here he did not leave his cage and did not really know what toys were about......... he was my second "large" bird and I was really terrified, yet curious about him. Side note - I promised hubby after getting Elwood that this was it - I wanted no more birds! LMAO Anywho, Lisa may be coming this weekend to visit Elwood - of course I have told her how my flock has grown since Elwood's arrival; Buck, Ms. Cookie, and Tinker, and Casper soon I hope - of course she has echoed a lot of your sentiments that I am a CRAZY woman! LMAO I really do hope that she comes over to see how well he is doing, and to meet the rest of the flock!
