Finally found some gas - off to the vet!

My poor babies' nails are like little razors, and Merlin is now fully flighted. I have had to cancel two previous vet appointments; actually they cancelled one and Hurricane Dennis took care of the other one. I was almost cancelling today's appointment due to the lack of fuel in my truck! As soon as the gas stations here receive gas, there are instant lines! I am not a very patient person and I refuse to sit in a line for hours on end to fuel up. My girlfriend called me at work yesterday morning and told me a few places had received gas; I hightailed it to the gas station, and was the third person in line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This entire gas situation is frustrating, to say the least! I have yet to see one gas station keep gas for more than 24 hours; they all have bags over their pumps by the end of the day!

It is just like the gas shortages in the 70's. We spent hours sitting in long lines waiting for gas and were only allowed to fill up if you were below a 1/2 tank. My mother and I used to take the family cars (fathers and grandparents) to the gas station every day. Odd numbered license plates filled on odd number days and even numbered on even numbered days and 1/2 of our cars were even numbers and 1/2 odd numbers. Let's hope it doesn't come to it.
