Happy Ending to a sad story.....

My mother's budgie flew out the door a week ago.
She's been so sad and has walked many miles calling and looking for her lost budgie. So far no luck :( I was getting concerned as my mother was starting to get depressed.

Now for the happy ending..... today, I had a call from my husbands' aunt ... she found a budgie almost a month ago and no one has come to claim it.
She does'nt want the bird and hoped I would take it.
Well, I thought .... hmmmm, should I ask my mother if she's interested ???..... but then I thought no, she'd say no because she's depressed so I jumped in the car, drove over and collected this little lost bird and brought him over to my mom's.
I asked her if she'd be willing to give a home to this poor lost budgie and she did'nt hesitate.
I called her tonight to see how the NewB is settling in and I could hear the happiness in my mom's voice. She said how wonderful it is to hear that sweet budgie voice again.
And if her Blue budgie comes home, well, then she'll have a friend for him :)
