Im Lawrence, I'll be 53 on saturday  never thought Id see that number.
Im retired, secondary to being 100% disabled.
I use to run trama units, work in ER's , worked orthopedics for a few years and ended my medical career working mental health and running group homes for that population.

Ive been a dog person all my life but in that the place I stay at wants 100,000.00 insurance on any dogs or cats brought onto property, I got tired of being by myself and got myself a lutino tiel a 10 year old miss named Moon Unit (couldnt see naming her Frank). She is my first non-dog pet Ive ever had and I think were getting along quite nicely. Even though shes been molting for weeks and boy oh boy is grouchy.. :)

Oh yea, Im unmarried and not involved... no one can put up with me :) surprised the bird can.

I'm Michele, and I'm 33 (how did that happen? About 2 years ago I was 23, I swear..). I am American (from Philly and lived in New York City) but I live in `London, England with my British husband, Martin.

We live in the inner city so I don't have need for a car (thankfully, since they drive on the left over here...which I'm not keen to try). I have a bunch of part time teaching jobs, including (night school) high school English, basic English (writing, grammar, etc), and I.T. and I'm *trying* to finish a Ph.D.

Most importantly, we are owned by a lovely little parrot named Humphrey, who is sometimes a bit nervous. He was abused and neglected but he's coming around and is starting to love us. I also include Corbett as one of my owners. Corbett is the parrot of my family in America, and I lived with him when I stayed with my mom. I get to live with Corbett whenever I go home to Philly.

My life's ambition is to take care of needy parrots. We are planning to move back to America in a year or so (in fact we're doing the paperwork to bring my husband over right now) and my husband says that once we own our own place, he doesn't care how many parrots I bring home, as he knows how deeply I care for them.

My name

My name is Steven, and I'm only 14(late October birthday) and will be entering my second year of highschool,....grade 10 this September. I am an original of this board with our population of less than 20,lol! And have been through it with you guys with the sites crash, trolls, and times of uproar.

As most of the regulars know I'm a proud Canadian, and am proud of my dutch heritage.

I am an A(Or over 80) student, and yet I still have life as well with a great sense of humour.

AND obviosly I have an enormous amount of love for animals. Specifically birds and herps(reptiles and amphibians) in which I find facinating.

I'm owned by;
-Two cockatiels
-Two budgies
-An orange cheeked waxbill

-A firebellied toad
-A firebellied newt

And

-A rough green snake

Birdboard's a riot!

STeven

Hi I'm Joyce, another oldie LOL! I'm 40 and been married for 20 yrs this Oct.
I'm from Southern California. I met and married my husband out there and we moved to Tennessee, where he was from. I have 2 human kids, both girls, 19 and 11.
My other babies consist of 5 Budgies, my dog, a Shepard/Akita mix (I might add she actually thinks I gave birth to her, LMAO!) and I have a 15 gallon fish tank.
I love ALL animals. I don't know if I should say this on a bird board........but Horse's are my passion, I know more about them than anything.
I am a reality show junkie, thank my Sister for that, LOL.
