I'm always seeing new names in here, but never (or rarely) see them post anything. I like getting to know people, and I'd love to hear from some of you! So....I think this is a good opportunity for all of us to introduce ourselves...and a good opportunity to get to know some of our seen-but-not-read members...
I'm Nina. I'm 21. I do medical billing and am also still in school. I've lived in Florida my whole life and could never imagine leaving. I love my classic muscle car ('65 Pontiac GTO) and love traveling, especially for white water rafting trips. (Now the important part) I am the proud parront of 3 beautiful fildren: Cayo (1 y/o Quaker Parrot), Dewey (8 mo. old Peach-front Conure), and Bebee (5 mo. old Blue African/Indian <we don't know yet> Ringneck).

I'm Laura, am 35, and live in Park Ridge, Illinois until next Friday, when we are moving to Des Plaines. We have 2 beautiful girls, Zen our 3 year old lovebird and Cory our 18 month old Senegal.
I'm an Operations Assistant and also work part time at Marshall Field's.
I love to read and knit and tap dance (but I'm currently looking for a new school). I also love movies and music and collect dragonflies.

I'm Monica, I'm 16, and at the moment I am homeschooled, working on my studies, for the most part, alone. I don't have a job (as of yet), nor do I own a car, or wish for one, let alone my drivers license, however, I do wish for a little motorcycle, or a 4 wheeler! I've lived in California for most of my life, though moved to Nevada last year; I love to go biking, hiking, drawing art, reading, poetry, all that type of stuff.

And, I am owned by Noel (9+ yr cherry head conure, sex n/a), Casey (3yr female cockatiel), Cosmo (9+ yr male budgie), Smurf (4-5yr male budgie), and a family of four bourkes. The bourkes are:
Mother, 12yrs old
Oldest Daughter, 5-6yrs old
Then the two youngest,
The daughter and son both are 2 years old.

I am 35, live in Florida and have been married for fifteen years.
I have two kids, a twelve year old girl and a fifteen year old boy. :oops:

I have nine parrots ( most rescues five conures,a U2, a pionus, two tiels) )
two canaries, 11 zebra finches, cordon bleu finch, and a kitty cat who lives in my master bedroom suite and finds the birds very very scary.

My hobbies are cleaning cages, feeding birds and then doing it all again.
Oh and in my spare time when I am not cleaning cages I read, do photography, bird watch and cook.

I'm the old lady here, Nancy aka The Outlaw. I'm also married to my high school sweetheart, Will and that's been since 1968. We both love hot rods, tiki stuff and of course my birds. I haven't been on vacation in 5 years, and its starting to show.

I currently have 10 birds, an Aussie Sheepdog and a bunch of pond fish. My greatest love of all is my 6 year old granddaughter, Miss Lily. My friends call our home ********** because it no longer resembles an human habitat.

Hi there! My name is Laurie. I am 40 with a 20 yo and an 18 yo. I have 3 dogs; a 125 lb dobie, a corgie mix, and chihiuhua mix. I also own a 16 lb cat who is awesome. I am owned by a sun conure, a quaker, a b&g, a LSC, and an U2. (and daughter's white rat). I am on my second marriage, 8 years and counting.
I am thankful to discover my love for birds later in my life as I can enjoy them and afford them.
My hubby is awesome and hasn't traded me in, so far!
