I am very excited

- I will be going to North Carolina on October 13th - just a day after Tammy's birthday! I am anxious to see my dear friend, meet Scott, and embrace my new cockatoo! Oh - life is so good!

Gas prices are steadily receding here, so I think it will probably be a good time to come. I am really looking forward to meeting some OPL folks and their fids.

That's great. You'll get your "too fix", Tammy will get a wonderful birthday surprise visit and Scott will get to meet all of you. I wish the price of gas would go down here in Maryland. Its still $3.19 for regular.

Gas here is about 2.99 average here some higher some lower. At least there is gas this time!

Gas where I live is around 2.85 and a local station owner told me it will be 2.67 next week.

At this point, I don't care so much about the prices, just the availability of the gas! This week it seems that all of our gas stations are carrying gas, finally!

There will be a bird show at Raleigh State Fair Grounds in May
