Explain to me how the chat room works..

Alright, I'm a new member, could you explain to me how the chat room works? Do you sometimes have schedualed chats or something (Thats how we sometimes did it in another mailing list I was in)?

The chat room like most forums is just a place that others will hang and chat live. I do not know if they schedule them. Bu tit is open all the time

No real schedule for the chat room. It is kind of a hit and miss sort of thing! If I see a few people in the chat room I will pop in for a few minutes.

The easiest way to start a chat is to invite members to chat. Try to give everyone at least an hour advance notice. You will find that after a while, the chatroom will create its own buzz. We have had 15 folks on at a time (that's pretty crazy but fun). In any event, just post the invite and see what happens.

do you find this CHAT room? i have been looking since i joined,but i can't seem to find this CHAT room!! i thought it was the LOUNGE cause that's what the name imparted to me,but i see it's just threads.what on earth am i missing here??? HELP!!!! I NEED DIRECTIONS!!!!

Yes, we are in the process of upgrading the software so the chat room is closed until everything is finished. Keev or kvnband would have the technical details.

Yeah, technical details are that: It's not available right now. :-) It is a back burner project right now, with my college taking the most precedence and other major repairs at the top of the list.
