Iknow its just a gut reaction, but I have NEVER seen a pretty snake or one I'd like to get to know better. I realize that they are necessary, but frankly they'd be MUCH safer if they'd just keep their distance from me. My gut reaction, I'm afraid, is just like Heathers. They just make me nuts.

Killing snakes for fun and profit.

A friend of my family once told me he made money one summer by walking the banks of the Mississippi with a can of gas and a .22 pistol. He'd pour a little gas down any snake-sized hole, and if a rattler came out - pop! There was a bounty on them at the time...

I like snakes, but killing venomous ones gets a full pass in my book.

YUCK :!: Snakes and spiders both give me the creeps; can't stand either of them. We have had 2 rat snakes in our backyard this year and if the grass is to long I refuse to walk outside! YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
