Off topic... Real Child Adoption...

So this weekend my sister calls me up and says hey, you invited along with the rest of the family to head over to my place for lunch this past sunday... I have some new for yall.... I am like great my sister is pregnant lol.... Well she wasn't prego but her and her husband have decided to adopt since she has a condition that makes it hard to conceive... I guess they have been trying for 2 years now... I asked them, are you guys doing it right and I think them 2 turned as red as a stop sign and the rest of the family laughed for a minute... but in all seriousness I am happy for them. I guess they have gone through the paperwork and have saved up half of the $10,000 to finalize the adoption process I guess before they start seeking out a kid to adobt. Has anyone here been through the loop before?

YAY!! Congratulations!! I haven't personally. My friends have. That have an adorable Korean baby named Luke. They too, were having trouble conceiving so they decided to adopt. They had to have an international physical and she was required to lose weight before the approval. She did great. Lost weight and kept it off. She just gave birth to her biological son.
Sorry, Kevin, I don't know if that helps you but I think it's a nice story. Good luck!!!

Congrats Kevin! My aunt and uncle are also considering adopting. Both of my best friends are adopted as well. It's a really exciting/anticipating time. Congrats again!

We are still aways away from the actual adoption process itself... but they are through the paper work, & prereq's and just shoring up the funds and starting to sift more hoops they have to jump through...

Seems after all the stuff they been through already... No wonder why these celeb's goto other countries... Don't have to go through the red tape to do a good thing....
