Dagnabit!

NO MORE BIRDS IN THIS HOUSEHOLD - the last two that I have brought in prefer hubby over me! How the heck does that work? Seriously though, "Sassy" is a sweetie, and though small is very destructive. I will win her over eventually!

Ya know, in a weird way, I'm happy it's only me in the house now. When I finally get a bird, it will have no choice but to love me with all it's little heart.

Watch, it'll prefer the dog to me. That would be just my luck!!!

She'll come around, Laurie!!

Don my first bird was a wild caught Yellow Nape and the only one that could touch the cage was our cat. The cat slept on top of the cage on the cage cover during the day and could even let one of her paws dangle inside and the bird wouldn't touch it. If anyone even came close to the cage the bird was in the attack mode.
