MAJOR prayers needed for Floridian members!!!
Hurricane Wilma looks like a real nasty one and I don't like the path she is taking.
Everyone, please pray for our members in Florida, so they will be OK! www.flhurricane.com Floridians, (you know who you are), please check in so we know you are OK. If you think you will lose power, please arrange for another member to check with you by cell phone. Y'all know we worry! ![]()

Thanks Tiki & Samm......Everyone's prayers will surely be needed & then some (looks like) - got a bad gut feeling about this one.....Whoever gets hit with the BullsEye is in for the most trouble of course & they say since Wilma's EYE is so "tight" right now, the highest most destructive winds will be from the eye wall outwards for 15 miles which of course can change in the next few days. However the rest of it will be big trouble regardless. I'm already getting a bit stressed out over it all because of having all these birds & other responsibilities which I did not have during Hurricane Andrew back in 1992. It was hard living for yrs. afterwards around here. We lost power that time for about 3 weeks........ I do have the phone #'s of a couple people on here so I will do my best to check in that way if we lose electricity (if I can get thru) afterwards........Best of luck to the rest of you Floridians...

Well look on the up point. If and when we lose power it will be much much cooler then last year. When Charlie hit the temps were at their peak. Having your power out is a lot easier to deal with if it is cooler.
I am just south of Punta Gorda( edit, sorry I meant just north not south of Punta Gorda). I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will swoop below Florida and out to sea. But we are getting our supplies today and preparing our plywood. Lynda
