This doesn't pertain to birds, but I wanted to share it with everyone

My little baby girl (Cassie my daughter) turned six yesterday!

Boy am I getting old lol. I of course woke her up for school by jumping on her bed and singing happy birthday to her at six a.m. in the morning (our normal time to get up for school) then I give her a joyful birthday wipping (very lightly and playfully of course) that I kept on losing count and would have to start all over again. Once that was all done, my little baby said and I quote "Mom get off of me you are smashing me and when are you going to grow up" Can you believe that. Well I just looked her straight in the eye and stuck out my tongue and said never and that I hope she never did either. Can you believe that, then to top things off, she didn't even want me to hold her hand like we always do when I walked her into school. She said that holding hands was for babies and she was not a baby anymore since she is six. What happened next was probably more embarrasing for her then me. I started to cry and I picked her up and smoothered her face with kisses (in front of her friends and anyone else who came along) and told her that she was never to old for lovings!!! Now I am sitting her at my desk thinking about how big my little blue eyed baby has gotten and how old I am. I know this may sound silly to everyone else, but I dread the day that my little ones grow up and leave home. I have attached a picture of my birthday girl to see
