I too like the set up better than the last one. And I am very proud of our slightly underaged leader for doing so much for us.
Is there a way we can know if someone is in the chat room without actually having to go in and look?
Just kind of feels silly sitting there talking to myself. I do that all day anyhow, it would just be nice to be able to say that "This time I am NOT nuts" and have others to talk too. :shock:
Anyhow, just trying to stir up more trouble and work for our friend is all

I've found a new one, and it will probably be on later tonight. I will mess with it til it does what I want. (maybe a link at top of site to chat, and on mouseover, it tells how many are in chat.)

But that IS NOT the one we'll be using. I put it up, and it turns out it only works in internet explorer, so we'll be getting another one soon.

Time zone issues CAN indeed be a chat discrepancy...because those who have already saw the sun of Saturday are not those who are still seeing the Moon approaching on FRIDAY!...We need a listed time zone ...simply one to designate the time differences (hours_wise) between the USA , Australia,London etc...most definitely...but the others can kinda inform each other of the 2-4 hours time difference we share...Like Canada from Florida...is 3 HOURS EARLIER> then Florida... etc.....ya know what I am trying to say....BUT also the chatroom CAN INDEED work for those of us in the USA who are somewhat insomniacs (like smurfy!)...who can meet up with those who are experiencing a new day while the USA still snoozes.....sooooooooo...did ANYBODY understand ALL that garble I just typed???? Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh...............

You can't get there because it's gone. I am getting a new one up ASAP that will hopefully work better in all browsers.

I guess we need to ease up a bit ...the guy is doing the best he can!! No doubt about it! I certainly trust he comes through with a GREAT CHAT program mostly would REALLY like the 'ability' to "see & tell" IF at all possible!!! All of us would LOVE seeing & hearing the others birds!! I believe that would be a terrific thing to have!! I am SURE I am not totally alone on this idea!!(?) am i????????? :oops:
