Hi! Okey dokey, here goes the names of all of our feathered n' furry babies...

Mr. Snuggles (our FEMALE rabbit)... She came to us as "Snuggles" which sounded too "wishey-washy" to the boys, so we changed it to MR. Snuggles... only to find out 2.5 years later that he is in fact a she ... Oh well!

Arlo & Hiratio (Chinese foo dogs... brothers from the same litter) I had to buy these sight-impaired guys plane tickets from Sascatchewan (sp?) Canada to Montreal's airport, and then drive up from NH to Montreal to pick them up... all so the breeder wouldn't put them to sleep because they were going blind!!NOT NICE! At any rate, I named them myself... dunno why I chose what I chose, but just loved the names & liked the way they sounded together. We call Arlo "Lolo" and Hiratio "Rachie".

Saber (our tuxedo cat) was unwanted and needed a home BADLY...she came to us all matted (don't know how that happened... she's a short haired cat!) and not smelling so very nice... She's a real beauty now, though.... She already had her name, knew it well, and we all really liked it.

Nosferatu (Our lovebird) Well, at the time of his adoption, his name was Petry. I wasn't really loving it, so the kids and I thought of a few names... they had seen Nosferatu on a Spongebob episode, I am a lover of horror movies, and let's face it... lovies are known for being nippy, so we went for it. N' boy oh boy, does it fit!!

Rigby (our parakeet) at the time of her adoption, we were told that she was definately a male, & her name was "Blue"... I wanted what I then thought was him to have a "name-name" that time and thought had been put into, and the boys and I came up with Rigby... (which I still absolutely love)... only to find out here on BB, he is in fact a she... That's ok, though, I think it works as a neutral name anyways!

Helio (IRN) I named Helio when he was a wee babe... not even feathered yet... didn't know his sex, but had a feeling he was male... I liked the sound of the name Helio (prounounced Elio) and also loved the infectious smile and personality of Helio the dancing race car driver from dancing with the stars, and longed for my baby to have the same wonderful disposition. Then the DNA test came back that he was in fact a male... Woo-hoo!!

Harley (U2) Harley came to us named "Harley the bird" due to the fact that her previous mom's boyfriend has a Harley MC... She knew her name SO well, that it'd been a crime to change it.

Well, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!

My boyfriend named my blue budgie before we even bought him. I couldn't decide if I wanted one but I knew if I did it would be him, so my boyfriend decided that we would name him Waldo for the time being. I realized that Waldo suited him and was too cute to change!

Smile Names

I'm getting a new baby blue Parrolet later this week. Trying to decide between Bailey, Bently for Sir Baxter. Not sure why I like "B" names for my pets. My dog Rest is sweet soul was Benjamin "Benny"
But I'm open to any suggestions.
Thanks
Alfie1
