Yes, there was! The posts were exactly the same! Try clicking on your name, going into your profile, click on 'View all posts by Alika' (under Forum Info), then scroll down to 11-05-2005, 08:15 PM. It's right above 'parrot owners panic over bird flu...'

Great pictures!! Did you know the San Diego Wild Animal Park, now has a new bird show!
We haven't seen it yet, but I'm sure it's good. For you none San Diego locals, the Zoological Society of San Diego is both the Zoo and the Wild Animal Park.

Yup, and they're (wild animal park bird show) hiring for a bird trainer. One of my co-workers has applied and has already interviewed. My boss called in a recommendation (supposedly she knows people down that way) and she thinks she will get a second interview, for which she will have to fly out to San Diego.

If she gets it (and we all hope she does!) you San Diego locals will have to go take lots of pictures of their bird show for me!

LOL, thanks!

But if she gets the job, you will have to go again and make sure you get pictures of my coworker, too!

Wow, they have a lot of great birds! Well, so do we, but it's cool to see other bird shows with different birds that what we have.

We all wish her the best of luck... I hope she gets it...

I love San Diego, too. I would love to move there one day. I was tempted to apply for the position myself, but I still have quite a bit to learn from the aviary before it is time for me to branch out, and I want to finish my education before I leave Utah.

Next time you're at the SD zoo be sure to visit the Red-tailed black Cockatoo's. They're very interactive and live in an aviary on the same path as the Kiwi's near the koalas and camels. I see them every time I go and they are beginning to remember me.
