a little prayer for my daughter
I wanted to ask you guys to just say a little prayer for my daughter Thursday afternoon. Kass is going in for her third round of eye surgery on both eyes in seven years. She is 13 years old and suffers from strabismus. Usally not a big deal except when they eyes refuse to stay in position. Repeated surgeries cause scar tissue,making each surgery longer and more expensive.
Please pray it goes well and that her eyes actually hold this time. Thanks, Lynda

I will surely be happy to pray for your daughter. Its hard enough being 13, much less having these problems.

Consider it done! And tell her that having "Diabolo" eyes can sometimes be perhaps a good thing. It allows her to see the world differently than other children and that she can put a "Whammy" on them if they are not nice to her.
It's all in the perspective one sees things in, sometimes it's a good thing and other times it just sucks. I shall be saying a little prayer that she will be able to see the world again in all it's beauty. Lots of hugs coming her way.

Hugs and prayers from me as well. Nancy is absolutely correct; it is hard enough in today's world being 13. My son was born with a clept (sp?) lip and spent a lot of his childhood being teased. Kids are so mean sometimes..............
