holy cow wow!!!

This was incredible to see. I wish I had my camera with me. I was watching this Red Tail Hawk soaring over the place I work. Looking for a meal I am sure. It took less then a minute and a Crow was chasing him!!!
A little harassing here and there ya know?
Then there was two Crows. They weren't just doing fly byes either. They were hitting the Hawk. The Hawk was easily twice their size.
Up the Hawk went to great heights as they do. I knew what was coming. It hit max height and it tucked its wings for a death run.
Down it came, man what a sight!! But o I felt sorry for its target.
BAM!!!

From out of no where a Crow meets it in mid dive!! Slams into the Hawk hard. Which broke off the attack. Quite nonchalantly the Hawk flies off only to be greeted by............... oh ............... a hundred? more Crows!! A whole dang murder of Crows. Man what a sight. That Hawk went low and fast outta there!!

Wow that would have been something to see the mid air collision. I always see the crows and even the smaller black birds chasing hawks and bald eagles. It is a trip. You'd think they'd be leery of messing with them.

I would have liked to have seen that!
You know those tiny brown birds that look like finches (probably are but no bird expert) at walmart I'd watch them chase off the crows and even a hawk once. They've so much courage and attitude!

Those crows pack a pretty strong peck! The crow I had would go through a 3 inch oak perch every couple of days!!! I bet the hawk has some battle wounds to tend to!
