OK, don't shoot when I ask this question...
what other forums are there besides BB that you guys post on? I know, I know- treason!!!! No- really, I just like posting on multiple forums, I am not "ditching" the board... I swear! This is one of the neatest boards I have been on in a long time!

I belong to a board in the UK, just general parrot stuff, one (or two, if you can count one not really being a board) conure forum, another general bird forum based on a sanctuary... I've signed up with various others but for one reason or another didn't stick with them because they aren't nearly as great as BB. Some members only go to BB, but since BB was not the first forum that I found (one of them... but I forgot about it after I signed up!), I am solely the member of 2 forums (the first I ever stuck with, and this one) and will not abandon them. All others so far I could care less about as they aren't as great, and besides I prefer general forums over species specific ones.

By far though, I'd say that BirdBoard is the best out there! I've been around to various forums, even ones from various countries, and I still come back to this one for the info, family feeling, and friends! I've been bad though as I HAVE recommended BB to a few other people on different forums, but mainly because the information they were looking for wasn't readily available at those forums or the forums are not as active as BB (such as the other forum I wont leave).

I used to be a member of my sister's husband's forum, but no longer am. It's mainly a lovebird forum, but has areas for various other species...

I don't regularly post on other boards anymore- I just haven't found any that compare to Birdboard. Plus I'm on here ALL THE TIME, so I haven't the time for anything else!
I will say that flightfeathers.com is one I left pretty quickly. There arent many people that post on there.

Which I believe one of our own members Moderates. I won't mention names just in case I'm incorrect. It is just an African Grey forum, but there is always a lot of posting going on.

I have posted in the past on Macaw Talk, The Eclectus Connection, Featherheads,Toolady, and a few MSN Groups. I think I also may have posted on a few Yahoo groups. I no longer have time to post anywhere but here for obvious reasons.

I would imagine that most members also belong to other forums. That's fine and to be expected. The only time you'll get in trouble here is if you solicit the members here. That will get ya banned.

One of the ways we get new ideas and interesting threads is from belonging to other boards.

Yes, soliciting our members to join other forums either openly or privately is strictly forbidden. Like Nancy, I have no time to post on other forums as I practically live here and on MSN. I belong to an Aussie based forum but only post there when I am seeking a bird to buy, like now I am looking for a Princess Parrot.
